I'm a Manchester-based certified copywriter (with Distinction), Sheffield University journalism graduate (BA Hons) and EFL teacher, with over a decade of teaching experience.
Passion
I've always been enchanted by the way symbols on a page have the power to educate, inspire and move people.

Interests
I enjoy reading the works of the late Iain Banks (‘Use of Weapons’ is my favourite book) and Clive Barker. I love all kinds of music, particularly rock music (especially Bob Mould/Sugar). I enjoy ambient/techno acts like Underworld and Aphex Twin, too.
I’m a board game geek – I can often be found skulking around Travelling Man or Fan Boy 3, looking for my next fantasy fix. I have been an avid video gamer for many years (love 'The Last Of Us 2', and anything by From Software).
I’m also a huge football fan and support Manchester City. I was a season-ticket holder at the Etihad Stadium for several years.
Above all, I love being with my Catalan wife, Gloria, and my son Daniel, who was born in April 2010. They are the best things that have ever happened to me.
